Super Flower is the OEM for several quality PSU lines. I have a previous Super Flower in my current PC, and it's great as well. I bought this one for the correct power connector for the 4080, and 5080/90 GPU that I will eventually upgrade to. That way I won't be using 8 pin adapters for that. Great quality ,and also warranty.

Comes with a 12vhpwr cable and is among the highest rated top tier 1000 watt atx 3.0 psu's on the market. It's a standard size psu unlike some others that take up a lot more space in your case.

I think a few big companies may start trying to compete in this price segment though which isn't surprising if Montech is eating their lunch in the double digit price high quality PSU market Cable lengths are nice, especially the SATA cables, which allow me to use only 1 cable for all my sata drives! a lot tidier than using 2 Nice and quiet at lower loads (<200w or so), no noticeable fan noise or coil whine. It's only a bit more compact than most other ATX units, but that extra cm or so is welcome in a cramped case

- I've had this for about two weeks with no issues - Quiet with ECO mode on - ATX 3.0 compatibility (this is one of the main reasons I got this over similar capacity models from Corsair like the current RMx series) - 10 year warranty (this is not stated on product page, but one of Super Flower's reps confirmed this to me)

Small size, 140mm fan, and the best thing is the universal 9 pin connectors make wiring simple. No matter what you wiring on the board side, pcie, cpu, gpu, sata, or molex... all of them have a 9 pin connector on the psu side, and can be plugged into any available port on the psu. Also has an eco switch if you want the fan to be able to go to 0 rpm.

Comes with white cables if you are going for an all white build. 12+4 pin GPU cable is long enough to reach GPU even in cases with a top mounted power supply.

Quiet not blowing up

Why did I pick this? I was looking for an A tier power supply. I have had Seasonic and Corsair PSUs before. Why buy expensive parts and cheap out on a power supply? The criteria were 80 plus gold, white, and top tier manufacturer. Yes, I could have saved $80 but chose not to. Make your choice and roll the dice
