I think a few big companies may start trying to compete in this price segment though which isn't surprising if Montech is eating their lunch in the double digit price high quality PSU market Cable lengths are nice, especially the SATA cables, which allow me to use only 1 cable for all my sata drives! a lot tidier than using 2 Nice and quiet at lower loads (<200w or so), no noticeable fan noise or coil whine. It's only a bit more compact than most other ATX units, but that extra cm or so is welcome in a cramped case

Absolutely silent power supply. I picked this up and used it with my 4090, which I sold. Used it with a 3090. Then used it with a 5080, until I finally got my hands on a 5090. PSU stays absolutely silent. Modular cables are well designed and seem to be holding the power of a 5090 well. I have zero complaints about this power supply. It was my first MSI power supply, but I assure you it won't be my last! What a great buy! Highly Recommend A++

I bought this PSU because it came with four 6+2 pin cables instead of three. All of the cables are well bundled, and slotted in securely and smoothly. All cables were labelled for their appropriate use

I bought this power supply for the new 5090 GPU for 600w and enough head room for everything else. I also liked the mesh wrap to the gpu cable and the yellow color to make sure you plug In the cable all the way to be safe.

Installed it and it works!!

Why did I pick this? I was looking for an A tier power supply. I have had Seasonic and Corsair PSUs before. Why buy expensive parts and cheap out on a power supply? The criteria were 80 plus gold, white, and top tier manufacturer. Yes, I could have saved $80 but chose not to. Make your choice and roll the dice

When I was looking for a Legit Power Supply I normally DON'T get the less Expensive one because the LAST PLACE you want to go Cheap is the POWER SUPPLY! However, after reading some Bench Mark Testing Results Done by My Bud Gordon Mah Ung I learned that this Montech Gamma II is an Exception to the RULE!!! We chose it and look forward to many years of Good Computing with this Power Supply! BTW Despite the cables being a bit Long They are Flat and easily hidden
