It just works. And in the computer world thats a big win. Runs as fast as a local hard drive.

It works just like you would expect it to. Wire management is a nice inclusion, and the power switch is at the top, making it easy to access yet out of the way. I haven't been disappointed by Belkin surges yet and will continue to use their products. I personally like the design of this product and the slimness is always helpful when trying to keep things organized.

Able to run my gaming computer at max potential with my monitor for 3 minutes or more, enough to withstand a electric blink.

- Great packaging, fast delivery.

Works out-of-the-box with various Linux distros using 4.x kernel (currently Debian Stable) Works well with mdadm Simple settings Works well/reliably/as advertised

Jumbo frame support Solid metal construction Wasn't able to overload it even with 6 gigabit devices running full 9K jumbo frame speed tests over them, 3 sending and 3 receiving

Easy to set up Works great

I buy this NAS for the 2.5 LAN .. I haven't fully tested it yet... but I want to say that the packaging and delivery were EXCELLENT.

Nothing else to add, works write out of the box.

As of DSM 7.3 you can now use any name brand drive again. I tested with my old 4 TB Seagate Red drives and no issues.

Best NAS OS DSM 7.3, user friendly, robust, slick. Can use any HDD brand with DSM 7.3. Support RAID and SHR.

This is an amazing little NAS. I bought it because you can install two M.2 drives on top of the four hard drives. It was easy to set up, and I was able to get almost everything set up in an hour. I'm still trying to figure out how to connect this directly to my Dell server for backups. I installed four 12TB drives, and it configured the RAID 10 by the next day. Much faster than I thought it would have been.
