* Very simple to set up and get working * Surprisingly nice packaging (especially at this price-point) * Fairly complete packaging with multiple cable options

-easy installation -sturdy enclosure means it will stay put -option to upgrade optical drive later

Solid as a rock and fast

-Easy to setup. -Great quality. -Great price.

Has a fan switch that can be turned on and off. There are times when the room has to be as silent as possible and other hard drive enclosures with automatic fans can be extremely noisy, this one you can turn the fan on and off as needed. Holds 4 drives Great for backup drive

Made of metal, requires no drive rails or tools. 3.5" drives are quickly & easily swapped. No issues with compatibility discovered so far - great news, considering I have some newer HDD docks made by WavLink & have experienced some compatibility issues with certain systems.

I ordered 2 of these drive cases to put to use a couple of WD 1Tb drives I had leftover from an upgrade. One of the two boxes worked fine, the other was DOA. I RMAed it and New Egg sent me one that works. Failures can happen to the best of them but the company (Vantek) should have better quality control. That dead box should never have gotten out the door. Other than getting a dead drive box, both seem to work as advertised.

1. Small footprint; 2. Easy to use - typical plug and play; 3. USB C to USB A adapter - crucial for desktops with USB C port at the back (like mine) or laptops without USB C port(s): 4. USB 3.0 - relatively fast data transfer; 5. Nicely shaped, neutral colour, unobtrusive - very elegant design; 6. REASONABLY PRICED - a rarity these crazy days!

Small footprint fit under computer table on top of my desktop.

Smaller than a 2.5" drive adapter case. I used this adapter to clone a smaller drive to a larger drive with Acronis. The cloned drive booted up with no problems.

Got this to use with a WD Blue SN550 and my Xbox One S. It cut the load time of Grounded from 2:05 to 1:20, which is quite an improvement.

+ Price / Value + Cool Faux-Retro Aesthetic + Great for Stacking / Easy Storage * They may not be designed to stack per se but they do a good enough job (much better than an enclosure with rounded edges) and that is such a huge bonus as it helps me to keep all of my drives organized and less prone to becoming a cluttered mess.

-Got 1000 MB/s on it on a usb-C port with the cable included in the package (RTX Nvidia card)

I like the USB C to USB A adapter is included and tethered. I tend to still just use USB A 3.0 ports. I am currently using a SSD M.2 but like that it supports both SSD and NVME (provided they fit the keys in the description). Getting really good speeds.

Easy setup - open slide in drive / place foam backer and close USB3 fast interface

- Simple and easy to use. - Small footprint. - Multiple connection options.

- Youre a man with his own backup software, probably Acronis if you're over the age of 20.... You don't need fancy features on your hardware as you have all the controls in software. -StarTech is best tech. I coulda bought Rosewill, but then I'd have to see their face of disgust. Not happening.
