-2 year warranty -Fast -Price. $90 USD when purchased, making for $30 a terabyte. I thought that was a pretty good catch. -Great for storing videos, pictures, and other media on.

Worked as advertised,

After nine months of solid as a rock use, I'm coming back and buying another. I am an enthusiast not a super serious min/max IT "Professional". Other than very occasional reboots on my system this is never turned off and never had a problem. Popped it in the tray, slid the tray in click, done. Forgot about it until I wanted more.

- Very fast for a hard drive. - Quiet drive, I don't hear it. - Seagate quality. I have used Seagate hard drives for 20 years with no failures.

Great service by Newegg, very professional. 10 Stars

- Fast for Magnetic Drive - Quiet

Bought this one to use it on Time Capsule instead of 3TB WD Green. 3 times better. Much faster access and back up. Very quiet and runs so far much cooler. If you ever consider between WD Red and WD Green, do not waste your time to think of it, go with the WD Red! Much better all around!

Installation facile. Produit très fiable.

Easy setup and easy copying

- I have two of this drive for more than a month now and I have no problem. I was expecting a transfer rate lower than what I got 120 mb/s witch is great considering its only 5400 RPM. - The price was right and the delivery fast. - I am using them for films, with the plex application and i have no trouble.

More storage space

8tb hard drive that works

Good size for a NAS

-Transfer rates are good - average a little over 200MB/s, drive to drive on the same LSI HBA on Unraid if it matters. -Temperature is good - average 30C in a 20C room during continuous transfer of files, about the same as a 6TB (WD6003FFBX), and about 5C lower than a 10TB (WD102KFBX). Idle temp is ~26C. This drive and comparables are in the same server/array. - Noise is relatively low, about the same as a 6TB and noticeably more quiet than the 10TB. - Cost per TB is good when on sale, very close to the largest 18-22TB rate.

Solid drive. 22tb formatted in windows 11. Replaced an old Toshiba x800 5tb 128mb cache and it is a lot faster, and I can't hear it at all. Getting 275mb read/write with sata3 internal on an x470 aorus mobo, and I even got around 250mb/s using a usb 3.0 enclosure for testing purposes. Not much more to say, I'm glad I picked this up!! =D

good transfer rate

Works great (so far). 200MB/s throughout with my other red nas pro drive.

240+MiB/s sequential write speed while connected to a USB3 dock. Came very well packaged.

By MB, the cheapest and reliable HD in the market Will last many years of constant use
