The multithreaded and single core performance is greater than most processors out there, but reviews are mostly about games, for other workloads like video editing it is unmatched. Every day us is also a breeze.

running smoother on a than 10th gen and better performance for our 3090 ti

Latest technology at a fair price. Running 30-35C in home office tower.

5GHz all P-core Runs cool under a 240mm AIO Can stream, game, and watch a video barley cracking 50% usage with no noticeable drop in FPS

Good graphics. Working great in a media PC.

Exactly as described, no issues with the device. Immediately after the thermal paste cured, I put it through a stress test and it lived up to the projected improvement in performance I was expecting.

So far so good, giving me no problems at all and seems to have the power to do whatever.

I had a 5900x and got it on a sale but always wanted the 16/32 core 5950x since it was the best CPU AMD released for AM4. But it was always priced with too much inflated pricing. I got this 5900XT Jan 2026, 16/32, core CPU because it was priced right and had the full 16 cores I wanted. I got it because I decided to not buy into AM5 at the moment because of DDR5 pricing is so high, but I wanted some sort of an upgrade right now and I already have 64GB ram and a 7900XTX card. I am glad I bought it because I am pretty sure I got a cherry of a CPU. I used Ryzen master to do the curve optimizer testing and after 2 hours of it running it set all cores to -30 negative. I was a bit skeptical of this choice but ran with it and it has been 100% solid and stable and boost to 4975-5000Mhz. I left every setting alone in the bios and the AMD software set the bios up according to the tests it did when I ran the software. The only thing I setup myself was the DDR4 which is set to 3733Mhz with decent timings not the best but pretty decent. In Aida64 my latency when tested is about 57-59ns which is pretty good I think for a dual CCD CPU. I am happy with my choice so far. It does seem to be faster than my older 5900x 12/24 CPU in games mainly because it seems to hold the core clocks a lot longer and temps do not seem to affect it as much as on the older 5900x did.

Quite fast and runs cool with my 280mm radiator. Amazing chip for gaming.

- Boost clock to over 5Ghz if you have good cooling - Bought when it was on sale - Stock cooler included

It arrived in a few days safely thanks ! Will buy more pc parts in future.

It works, it's fast, easy to overclock, rings cool with msi coreliquid attached to it. I wasn't sure if I was going to see much difference from my i5 12600k but it definitely is much faster.

this is the newest amd cpu i have gotten and it has been fantastic. its mounted on a msi tomahawk b650 wifi motherboard and works great.

- Good performance - Relatively low cost

I don't need gaming or other heavy lifting for a CPU. I just needed a cool, quiet, modern platform that will last me for a good number of years. I chose Intel over AMD as I find Intel's Quick Sync hardware capabilities to be better in my application for a media server. This CPU fit the bill. It's the cheapest option to get into a socket 1851 platform at this time with no budget oriented Ultra 3, Pentiums, or Celeron chips available. Having 10 cores available is nice to have, but a bit overkill for my application. I am pleased with the CPU. It stays cool and quiet. The stock cooler has a copper core and is VERY quiet! It does everything I need.

I know there have been some recent issues with the voltage on the i7 and i9 14th gen CPUs but I haven't had an issue yet (knock on wood). I am also not overclocking it and updated the BIOS as soon as the update was available. Gaming is secondary to work for my teaching computer science.

Wasn't sure what to expect from this. My last processor was AMD (bought in 2018) and it worked fine- just had to upgrade so my system could use windows 11. I do a lot of video editing and was just hoping for a little improvement in speed with this one- turned out it completes most things I do with video about 4 times faster than my old one.
