I us two of these drive's. one internal and one external using USB adaptor.

Got 14k reads like it was promised in a bench test

I replaced my sshd. With this one in my 2018 Asus FX504, and what a difference!!!! Very happy so far!!!

easy and fast to install

No installation issues Works as intended Read/write speeds match specs Not DOA

fast price looks awesome not some plain looking ssd.

- Faster option is nearly twice the speed of the "fast" option, I recommend spending the few extra dollars for it.

Wow, large file transfers / access are a breeze. Best NVMe ever (as of 6/2025)

Since this is my first M2 drive, I can't opine on the finer topics on which M2 NVMe is better suited for your needs, but I can say that coming from SATA SSDs, this thing is quick, it might not be like the extreme jump from HDD to SSD, but it's absolutely noticeable. Also, not having to fiddle with SATA cables during the build was a nice bonus.

Samsung Magician is the best for setting up a new drive.

Download the free Acronis True Image for Western Digital which will allow cloning the drive. It also has backup and system protection features, which provide ongoing protection (5 year free license). With a USB enclosure, one can perform the cloning operation, and then swap the drives. Very nice!

Arrived ahead of schedule, well packaged; installation in a newish Lenovo basic laptop was almost as simple as plugging the 8gb memory stick I had installed previously. The laptop came with 4gb of ram, and a 128 card soldered in. Sucked, especially witn Win 11. Now, it screams right along, doing everything I ask for. I'm using TG SSD's in most of my equipment, which is mostly other peoples' castoffs, and haven't had a failure yet.

Solid performance for value

Speedy SSD. I got the 8Tb model with included heatsink to mitigate throttling. Easy to install and set up.

Easy to install and to setup

These Samsung drives are so solid. For years I have trusted Samsung for my storage needs, and Samsung has never let me down. These drives are becoming outdated as HVME drives are taking over; however, 4 TBs of SATA storage is still great to have. This will hold my steam library for a while. This drive will probably have a place in my gaming computers for years to come.
