Got a couple of these at $44.98 minus a $20 rebate each. Fantastic deal after the rebate, especially considering these are from Netgear's pro line, which provides high quality metal enclosures and a lifetime warranty. Super compact and wall-mountable. The power adapter is the horizontal style of wall wart, so it fits better on most power strips.

The MS305 (pay attention to the model number when purchasing) is a fine addition to a home network, especially with moving moderately large amounts of data between devices (pictures, streaming, archives) internally or via the Internet.

Easy set up, fast speeds, easy Network management from one place

I renewed my network with all Unifi, and it all works great! 6 of these switches, 5 UAP AC PRO wifi access points, USG, and CloudKey. Finally installed ethernet through the house, to take advantage of gigabit FiOS, and wired everything except mobile devices and stuff without ethernet connections.

When you first read a product overview you have a tendency to look over it quickly and move on to the product’s specifications. Exactly what I did this time and them I installed this Smart Switch in place of my older TP-Link Router. I was surprised by the speed and efficiency at which this switch works. I was also surprised that you could actually monitor the switch at work. When I receive a product to write a review on I try to be thorough and write down in plain terms my experience with the item. First there are cheaper switches on the market. Second you have to decide if you want to have a wired portion of your network. Third is it worth your time to run cables and wire your house to achieve a wired network. Fourth do you need a secured wired network or network that has wired section? While there are cheaper routers and you may feel that the time used to run cables can be used to do something better, I would say that it is a great idea to have a section of your network that is capable of communicating over RJ45. The router is small and can be managed which is a plus. Taking the time to set up the network correctly will enhance you network stability. While wireless might be the way to go, having a wired portion of your network will give you an advantage in your home office. I use mine for software downloads and when installing windows on the computers I repair for family and friends. If you decide to do this to your network you will find that you have been missing out on faster download speed. You will also realize that you now have control over the ports and if you do decide to wire one side of your network you will be able to stream and game without bottlenecking the network. This is a well manufactured compact device that can be used at home or at your business. Installation is a breeze and everything you need to get started in in the box. Purchase your cables for the other items and you will be up and running in no time. Great buy for your home or business.

We bought 4 of these switches, they are all still working after 2 years (24/7 usage). We have them racked up in a fairly warm rack/area.3 of them were the "GREEN" series, and they run noticeably cooler (quite surprising) You can actually touch the chassis of the non-green edition and feel a difference in heat!

It worked very well for me with no errors until it died. It was very fast with USB 3 devices! It has a good warranty!
