Absolute beast even at stock! But even more so overclocked!

Low power consumption, excellent thermal performance and great performance for gaming and multitasking

Electrically non conductive The low viscosity makes it easier to apply and able to be pushed into microscopic grooves that other pastes would not be able to get into well because of air resistance that would prevent some from getting in. Its as good as the more expensive metallic paste i had on but significantly cheaper.

it overclocks just barely slower than the x version, but it still performs great and stays cool. uses less power than the regular 5600 or the x version. even using unreal 5 it does good, but for 1080p gaming, i dont see a bottleneck when paired with a 6600.

I paired this CPU with a RTX 3080 10GB on a 1080p and I'm getting +165 FPS in arc riders epic settings.

Benchmarks great

Easy install Good temps for such a thin heat sink All black Cool Master duh

-Low power vs the previous generations -Both great gaming and multicore performance -Plenty of IO -Doesn't kill itself like raptor lake -Very tame voltages -Super responsive even vs raptor lake which on paper these should be about the same. -iGPU have av1 encoding so frees my actual gpu for other stuff -Stable and no strange bugs or issues

Amazingly fast Runs automatically well above base speed.

It's fast enough to blow your hair back.

An excellent and powerful processor. I recommend it. The 265k is worth the price. Don't worry about the processor. It works perfectly. There is a program to overclock the processor from Intel. It's great.

I had no problem installing into my pc.

Why did I pick this? This is my first AMD CPU. I mainly chose this because Intel has been having issues with their CPUs. I waffled between the 9600X, the 9700X and the 9800X3D. Ultimately it came down to price. With GPUs being outrageous, I chose the cheapest CPU with the thought that when Zen 6 comes out I can swap the CPU. I really had no issues with it. Seems to install like any other CPU.

Boost above the base clock. Amd commitment to a long term chip.

Knowingly did a sideways upgrade from the 7600X. On air cooling, the 7600X immediately jumped up to high 80s Celsius when stressed. I know AMD said it was designed for such, but that's just hot. With the 9600x, at 65w TDP, it does not break 68C when stressed. Same cooler, same case etc. I'm happy with it.

-Daisy Chained fans make cable management a breeze -no RGB means even easier cable management -no iCUE cabling (universally compatible with any system) -no proprietary cables means fan and pump can be tuned using 3rd party software (or the BIOS) if you're not already in the corsair ecosystem -Once tuned, operates almost completely silently while still maintaining excellent temperatures (a full 10 degrees cooler at idle than my previous air cooler!) -at 90 dollars, there's hardly any other coolers in the market worth more (unless you're looking for a specific aesthetic) -at 110 dollars, the RGB version is also an option! -no need for additional cabling beyond pump and fans for full functionality

Current features and 1700 pin socket make it somewhat future proof. The dollars are chasing the GEN13/14 making this device affordable

Good cooling looks good

Cheap, stable, enough for gaming
