No driver needed in Windows

Maybe a Necessity if You Have a USB-C on Front Panel Header because no USB 3.2 GEN1 connector on motherboard. The PCI-E 1X to USB 3.2 GEN1 5Gbps 20pin Front Panel Header allows you to connect the USB-C front panel header to your PCI-E 1X slot

My new motherboard had only 4 SATA slots, so I ran out during the initial build (with zero NVME drives). So, I can now use my two optical drives (DVD and BluRay), which I know are passe, but I like having them hooked up! Board works great, no issues.

-Fits well in my tiny prebuild mini atx case. -no cable needed for power from the psu

Brand New & Undamaged in the Box.

I've wanted to add more sata ports onto my PC for a long time. This expansion card fits in almost any available slot. I used the extra PC x16 slot. I have tested a few of the ports, they all seem to be working well. I did not plug the Drive with Windows on it into this card, as it suggests not to do that. When I first booted up my PC after installing & connecting everything, one of my physical HDDs wasn't recognized & drive letters were changed. I turned it off, switched some cables around and tested some more ports, changed drive letters back, then everything was okay. It could have been a loose connection on my part.

Works well Works fast

It keeps the sdds cool and easy to install. A thick plate covers the sdds to disapate heat.
